Check-in / check-out
Q. Can I check in early?
A. Normal check-in is from 2.00pm onwards. If you need to check in early, please let us know in advance and we’ll attempt to accommodate you (subject to room availability). Alternatively you can always leave your luggage with us.
Q. I’m driving from Adelaide, can I check in late?
A. Usually we close the office at 9.00pm. However if you’re going to arrive late, please let us know in advance and we’ll assign you a room.
Q. How about late check-outs? Do you charge a fee?
A. If you’d like to check out after 10.00am, we charge a $50 late fee. Our cleaners are only on site until midday, so this means your room won’t be cleaned and re-sold that night.
Making a Booking
Q. Why should I book with you directly and not through a travel website?
A. We don’t charge you a booking fee. We don’t charge you cancellation fees if you give us 24 hours notice. We won’t debit your account until your stay with us. Plus we don’t get charged any commission. Everybody wins!
Q. What about security?
A. All bookings are encrypted using industry standard SSL security, and credit card details stored securely off-site.
Q. Why do you have so many repeat customers?
A. Because there’s no substitute for awesomeness.
Q. I booked and paid through Wotif, why do you ask for my credit card details when I arrive?
A. We ask for your credit card number purely as a form of security. From time to time accidents or breakages occur, or items are used from the mini bar, so we need some way of recovering these costs.
Q. Where is my credit card number stored?
A. All credit card information is stored securely off-site in a PCI compliant database, not on our computer.
Q. Do you give my credit card details to marketing companies?
A. No, we hate spam as much as you do.
Q. Is the mini bar free?
A. That would be truly awesome, but unfortunately no. If you’ve used anything from the fridge, please let us know when you check out.
Q. What happens if I leave and have forgotten to pay for items from the mini bar?
A. Normally we will just debit the outstanding amount from your credit card, and if you’ve provided us with an email address we’ll email you a tax invoice.
Q. I have a trailer, can I park it next to my room?
A. The undercover parking in front of the rooms is not suitable for trailers, however we have extra-long parking bays at each end of the building. We’ll always attempt to accommodate you next to your vehicle, but at busy times this may not be possible.
Q. Will my trailer be secure at night?
A. We are situated in a high-visibility area, with plenty of lighting to deter unwanted intruders. However, we take no responsibility for any valuable items left on your vehicles or trailers.
Q. Can my dog stay too?
A. We are animal lovers, but unfortunately the terms of our lease prohibit us from accommodating pets. This includes anywhere within the units, the carpark and guests’ vehicles. Failure to comply with this policy may incur carpet and other cleaning charges, up to a maximum of $300. We take great pride in the quality and cleanliness of our rooms, and the smell of wet dog or the presence of animal hairs can be extremely difficult to remove.
Q. There’s no question really.
A. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside your room. Failure to comply with this policy may incur carpet and other cleaning charges, up to a maximum of $300.
